After publishing our Ellie walkthrough we’ve seen that many of you are struggling on the gym bag and desk drawer of the game, so we’ve focused on those two items to write this guide and to help you out on these puzzles particularly.

How to Open the Desk Drawers:
First of all, you can spot dead people’s names on the desk, along with numbers. The top 2 numbers are always different from playthrough to playthrough, so each case is a case, but the bottom numbers remain the same.
Look at the wall’s poster.
Now, to open the desk drawers you must look at the numbers, dots and dashes. The puzzle needs three dashes or dots to form either C or L.
C equals Center
L equals Left
The top 2 numbers are what matters. Dot is L, dash is C. If you want to read below, we’ve set up a guide for all numbers:

Open the drawers in the order showed above and tap the screen after each pull so it gets the words out of your way and the pull registers appropriately.
How to Open the Gym Bag:
The poster used for the desk puzzle is the same, but now you need to watch the ring and how it sparkles to translate into dashes and dots… if you know Morse code it will be a breeze.
There are 2-3 flashes and now you need to translate them to numbers. 1 and 2 only have 2 dashes or dots, so there’s a big gap between them and it can make it harder for you to discern where the sequence begins.
When you have all three numbers, you’re set!
